Engineered Cross-linked Polyethylene Foam with improved Thermal Insulation properties INSUshield-af is a chemically cross-linked polyethylene insulation foam with optimized and acoustically tuned air channels/tunnels embedded within its closed cell structure. These air channels/tunnels offer more resistance to heat transfer and at the same time improve the sound absorption property. This results in lowering the energy consumption with more cost saving and better acoustics performance. In comparison to standard INSUshield, INSUshield-af offers additional comparable thermal conductivity in light weight products, 30% increased sound absorption values, making it user friendly and improving thermal & acoustic properties.
