Marching towards becoming a carbon-neutral company
Supreme strives to reduce carbon emissions in its operations through the use of renewable energy and low-carbon fuels. We have replaced LPG with PNG in the Kanpur Plant for lower carbon emissions. Dual Fuel method also in pipeline at our two plant.
We have upgraded our HT Power infrastructure from mixed to express feeder to optimize DG Utilisation. Due to increase in production, power consumption greenhouse gas emissions increased by 24 % & emissions reduction increased by 100% in FY 2023-24 (Base Year 2019-20). Our Hosur & Chennai plants utilized 57% & 84% respectively clean energy in FY 23-24.
Company completed the Life Cycle Assessment for the majority of the 6 Nos of piping products like PVC Pipes & Fittings, CPVC Pipe & Fittings, HDPE Pipe & Roto Tank contributing 65% to the overall revenue. LCA of 5 additional products ABF Foam, EPE Foam, Capcell, Chair, Crates also completed.
Lower Carbon Emission Roadmap
- FY 22-23: 44.47 Million Kwh with 29,883 tCO2e emission reduction.
- FY 23-24: 53.74 Million Kwh with 38,476 tCO2e emission reduction.
- FY 24-25: Budgeted 80 Million Kwh with 57,280 tCO2e emission reduction. (Upto Oct-24, 46.5 Million Kwh with 33,300 tCO2e emission reduction.)

Supreme Industries Limited formed a vertical ‘Energy and Environment’ for climate change, energy efficiency and renewable energy programme to augment our vision towards sustainable development.
We have taken concrete steps to move forward in sustainable development by establishing rooftop solar power at different location across India and procuring green energy from the market. Company 26 manufacturing units having RE presence. (Solar/Wind/Hybrid).
Renewable Energy Roadmap
- All new plants will be equipped with renewable energy.
- Group current solar capacity is 34 Mwp. Plan to increase it to 42 Mwp.
- Renewable Hybrid Power supply started at Erode and MP PVC Units. For MP PPD hybrid supply started from Nov-24 & MP Roto units hybrid supply expected to start by Apr-25.
- 57.86 Million Solar Unit PA PDA/SSSHA signed under captive mode for 6 units located in Maharashtra State.
- Group Captive Solar Power utilization started at Noida & Kanpur Units.
Water Management
Supreme Industries is concerned about the global issue of water scarcity. The company has taken several measures to monitor, conserve, recycle and reduce the consumption of fresh water.
We strive to improve the groundwater level by building ponds and pits to collect & conserve rainwater. We follow/use a rain water harvesting system (catch the rain) and zero liquid discharge (stop the drain) policy for water management.
We preserve our water resources by reusing STP-treated water for internal purposes. We also adhere to the Water Management System's legal requirements.
Green Products
Our diverse offering of products manufactured in an eco-friendly manner serves to save natural resources. Multiple Supreme insulated products, including INSU Sound XLO, INSU Sound BN, INSU Sound B CAP, INSU BXL, INSU Tape, INSUflex Hose & Sheet, INSU Reflector, INSU Shield, INSU Shield Tubing and INSU MELA foam, INSUSOUND PE are classified as Green products and certified by CII-Green products
